it's for you, only you...

I just watched Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill, Vol. 1. This movie has easily displaced Lost in Translation as the best movie of the year so far. It was a beautiful movie that rivals Pulp Fiction's genius. My review to come shortly.

Also, I must say that the big line at the movie theatre tonight was not for Kill Bill, even though it was sold out for all of its prime time shows. The big lines were for Clint Eastwood's Mystic River, which has been getting uniformly glowing reviews (Roger Ebert, Peter Travers, among others). Something to look forward to, no doubt.
