strange, thought i knew you well...

The Village Voice has this to say: "Tarantino's new Kill Bill, in theaters next Friday, is probably the most violent movie ever made by an American studio."

In an interview, Tarantino had this to say: "If you are a 12-year-old girl or boy you must go and see Kill Bill and you will have a damn good time."

Tarantino's recommendation of Kill Bill to pre-teens has given Disney, the parent company of Miramax (the movie's distributor), a reason to worry. All this controversy, and the movie isn't even out yet. About the only other movie that has met with this much pre-release mania is Mel Gibson's The Passion.

As they say, all publicity is good publicity.
